NestlingRoom

Free nursery layout planner · runs in your browser

Map what fits. Keep what is unknown visible.

Start from a small, standard or shared-room layout, or enter your own room. Drag furniture into place on the scaled plan (or use the keyboard and exact number fields), then add fixed features, manuals, checks, and budget assumptions. The tool surfaces geometry conflicts, unresolved source checks, and design guidance without certifying or scoring the room.

Ready-made layouts

Start from a room like yours.

Each layout places the planner's generic furniture in a small, standard or shared room, and each one passes the planner's own fit, collision, door-swing and route checks. Load one, then drag pieces around and replace every measurement with your room's.

These are starting points, not a check of your room. Each one begins with an example door swing and a window whose cord state is unknown: set the real door, window and outlet positions, use your products' exact dimensions, and work through the open prompts below.

1 · Room geometry

Measure first.

Add doors, windows, cords, outlets, heat, stairs or landings, and fixed furniture. Values use the selected unit.

Starting canvases—not minimums

Nighttime route view

Choose endpoints and an editorial planning clearance. This is a circulation heuristic, not an official threshold.

Route found in this plan

The model found a path to an approach point using 60 cm of planning clearance. Walk it in the real room and in low light.

2 · Furniture and floor coverings

Use exact footprints when you have them.

Generic starting sizes are editable assumptions. Rugs sit on a separate floor-covering layer and are checked at edges, doorways, heat, and access points; they are not treated as solid route obstacles or destinations.
